Hi! I’m Kathy Crabb, the juice behind Stark Raving Muse. Right now I’m laser-focused on my year-long project to do a creative act at least once per day. It started June 28, 2010 on Highway 536 somewhere between Anacortes and Mount Vernon, Washington, when I told my four-year-old son a story about playing with orcas.

My core impulse in life has always been to create, and Stark Raving Muse is an attempt to get back to that core in the midst of changing diapers, wiping noses, removing choke-worthy items from my infant’s mouth, and getting dinner on the table.
Besides the blog, there are other things coming! — workshops, coaching, art, and inspiration galore — for artists, writers, entrepreneurs, nonprofit-types, and anyone else who wants to rock the creativity in their lives. Because, after lots of fits and starts in finding my path, I now know that my mission in life is to inspire more and more people to feel, in a deep and pulse-pounding way, that creativity is your birthright.
In fact, I feel so strongly about it that I want to say it again, and again, and again:
